About Us
Vivek & Co., a business venture by Shri B. A. Lakshmi Narayana Setty, was the forerunner of Viveks, a name now associated with quality, trust, and variety. On May 3, 1965, Shri B. A. Lakshmi Narayana Setty started his business by selling fans, radios, and small appliances.
In 1968, B. A. Kodandaraman Setty took over the company, followed by B. A. Chandrashekara Setty opening a second location in Purasaiwalkam in 1969. In 1980, B. A. Srinivasan launched a third location in T. Nagar. Today, Viveks operates in several Tamil Nadu cities, including Chennai, Madurai, Rajapalayam, Karaikudi, Tiruchirappalli, and Salem.

The Beginning of Our Journey
As a professionally managed group with over 59 years of retailing experience, the brand has a wide network that covers 3 retail labels: Viveks, Jainson, and Home Serve. These labels sell home appliances, large and small home appliances, IT, and telecom devices.
The company also focuses on customer service through the Home Serve - Service Center. The company is currently led by the family’s second and third generations. Mr. B. K. Shankar, the CEO, Mr. B. K. Vinay, Vice President, Mr. B. S. Vishal, Vice President, and Mr. B. K. Vijay, Vice President, all continue to promote the ideals previously championed by Mr. Kodandarama Setty and Mr. Srinivasan.
Viveks Service Centre
The Vivek Service Centre - The largest service centre with more than 200 technicians on staff, was arguably the most successful and memorable of all. Viveks Service Centre is now called Home Serve, and in addition to offering product service, it also offers supplementary services including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
Viveks Foundation
Viveks Foundation - A social service arm of Viveks, helps out the economically underprivileged children through Education and Healthcare initiatives.
